This policy outlines our procedures regarding shipping, cancellations, and returns in accordance with EU and US consumer regulations.

1. Shipping and Order Fulfilment
We partner with established carriers including DHL, FedEx, and UPS (Priority) to ensure reliable delivery.

Order Processing: Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days.
Transit Times: Estimated delivery to Europe and the United States is between 4 to 9 business days.
Tracking: Once your order is dispatched, automated tracking notifications will be sent to the email address provided at checkout at key milestones: when the order is shipped, arrives at the sorting facility, and is out for local delivery.
Delivery Delays: If a shipment exceeds the standard delivery window, we will initiate a formal investigation with the carrier. Depending on the findings, we will offer a full refund or a complimentary reshipment.

2. Right of Withdrawal (European Union Customers)
In compliance with EU Consumer Protection Laws, customers residing within the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without providing a justification.

To exercise this right, please notify us of your decision via email at picnic@meadowtote.com within the 14-day period.

For customers outside the European Union (including the United States), we offer a standard 30-day return policy from the date of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging.

3. Damaged or Defective Items
We maintain high standards for our products. If you receive an item that is damaged or defective:

Please provide photographic evidence of the issue.
No Return Required: For verified damaged or defective goods, we will process a full refund or a replacement immediately without requiring you to return the item.

4. General Returns and Exchanges
If you wish to return a product for reasons other than damage (e.g., change of mind), the following conditions apply:

Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.

Please note: For international returns (e.g., from the US to Germany), return shipping costs can be substantial, particularly for large or heavy items like picnic tables. Customers are solely responsible for these return shipping fees for ‘change of mind’ returns.

Once a refund is approved, it will be processed through the original payment method used during checkout.
